Elements of the Buea Municipal Council Police just apprehended the prime suspect of the death of Ekalle Adele who was found dead around their Bakweri Town residence,Tuesday June 27th 2017. The Prime suspect by name Ahmele was hijacked around the Muea market by some elements of the Buea Municipal police at about 2PM Thursday June 29th,after attempting to escape.
For fear of mob justice, the Municipal police elements took him for further questioning and the said Ahmele claims Ekalle 's death was as a result of an accident and according to him,it was not intentional...He further stressed he tried to salvage the situation (cardiac attack) but to no avail and in the confusion of that Sunday June 25th night,he had to abandon the corpse and flee for his life.
He confessed after the Sunday incident,he has done everything possible to take his own life but it seems death has escaped his end.
Ahmele is presently under police custody for further questioning!!
